BUILDING TO FRUITION
1997 Program Note
Saint Francis Home recently completed a 1.2 million dollar expansion doubling its capacity from 31 to 63 residents.
Today we are pleased to announce plans which will bring this expansion to fruition with the addition of a program and activities atrium, wellness center, and an outdoor environment of walking paths, memorial gardens, waterfalls, fish pond, and chapel to further enhance the lives of our residents of St. Francis Home. The Catholic Diocese of Richmond approved a $200,000 grant and has also pledged to match our goal to raise the additional $35,000 needed to complete the project.
With this 1997 May 4th concert we begin our quest to meet this fund raising challenge. Ushers will accept donations at the conclusion of this performance, and you may also use the envelope included with your program to send your gift.
