Robert Lichtenberger is an American composer who served as Composer/Arranger for the United States Army Field Band at Fort Meade, Maryland from 1970 until retirement. He received his bachelor’s degree in music from Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Pennsylvania.
Lichtenberger studied music theory and composition at the Peabody Conservatory of Music (now the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University). Upon graduation from Peabody in 1970, Robert Lichtenberger began his career with the U.S. Army Field Band.
